Cynthia Puentes, lector
One: We come to worship God, not to boast in ourselves.
All: Our wisdom, our might, our wealth-all these are gifts from God.
One: If we must boast, then let us boast in this:
All: We come, to understand and know God, to honor God’s sovereign majesty.                            One: God acts with steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.                                              All: In these things, God delights.
One: Come, let us worship God.

*Hymn No. 222 “Christ Is Risen! Shout Hosanna”

Dear God,
Thank you for the many things that we cannot see or touch, yet in which we can safely believe. While we cannot see the Lord Jesus, nor reach out our hands and touch him, we do want to go on believing in him. Please help us to always trust him and to serve him with every turn of our lives. God, you are our greatest strength and joy!  Thank you. Amen!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, the power and the gory, forever and ever Amen.

Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold.
A circle is round, it has no end. That's how long, I will be your friend.
A fire burns bright, it warms the heart. We've been friends, from the very start.
You have one hand, I have the other. Put them together, we have each other.
Silver is precious, gold is too. I am precious, and so are you.
You help me and I'll help you and together we will see it through.
The sky is blue. The Earth is green. I can help to keep it clean.
Across the land, Across the sea. Friends forever we will always be.

Closing Voluntary/ Recessional: Please remain in your pews as the Light of Christ leads
the way into the world followed by our Pastor and Girl Scout Troop at the close of service.
