ST. PAUL MORNING TIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS – May 28, 2022

A FELLOWSHIP HOUR immediately follows this morning’s service in our Fellowship Hall, reached through the arched doorway at the right front of the church.  All welcome.

THE SUNDAY SCHOOL SPRING PROGRAM & BACCALAUREATE SERVICE IS SUNDAY, JUNE 5. The youth led service will celebrate our graduating young people and Sunday school children. If you or a family member is receiving a high school diploma, G.E.D., college degree, or continuing education certificate since last June, please contact Cindy Romas in the church office today for inclusion in the Sunday, June 5, 10 a.m. service.  All graduates are invited to participate in gown and mortarboard.  Forms are available on our St. Paul web page.

OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be upstairs this morning enjoying “A Spirit Filled Summer” theme with songs, a message, reflection, and spirit-filled activities.  They will also finalize preparations for their Spring Program, Sunday, June 5.

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS SOUGHT TO TEACH one Sunday over the summer. All curriculum, materials and snacks will be provided. A sign-up sheet can be found on the Christian Education Welcome Center desk upstairs. You can also contact Pastor Schalm to secure a date and/or for more information.

AN EIGHT WEEK 'MATTER OF BALANCE' CLASS will be starting up in Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, June 8, 1-3 p.m.  The weekly sessions are geared towards those concerned about falling.  Please contact Parish Nurse Kathy Williams (313-291-1221) to sign up.

DUE TO A RISE IN REPORTED COVID CASES St. Paul members are encouraged to mask for mutual safety and well-being.  Several pews at the center of the sanctuary have been roped on both sides of the center aisle for those who wish to socially distance.  Masks and hand-sanitizer are available at the entrances to the church.
