MORNING PRAYER  Hayley Dykowski

COMMUNION HYMN No. 397  “Come, Risen Lord”

Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep.  We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.  We have offended against your holy laws.  We have left undone those things which ought to be done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.  But you, O Lord, are merciful.  Spare us, O God, as we confess our faults.  Restore us in our penitence according to your promises declared unto humankind in Christ Jesus our Lord.  And grant, O most merciful God, for Jesus’ sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life to the glory of your holy name.  Amen.

SUNG AFFIRMATION: One bread, one body, one Lord of all; one cup of blessing which we bless.  And we, thou many, throughout the earth, we are one body in this one Lord!

SACRAMENT OF COMMUNION Pastors Drutchas and Schalm

A Prayer For Our Graduates…

“Who among you is wise? …Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.” – James 3:13

Dear God, we ask you for your powerful protection over our graduates as they go to different places and embark on new journeys in life, employing those gifts and talents with which you have endowed them. We ask that you watch over their paths, keeping their footsteps secure.

Protect their coming and going.  Guard them from all evil.

We pray that you would help them when they face temptations

in this life, reminding that you are always here.

Guard their steps from all evil, empowering them

to walk in faith with moral and spiritual integrity,

always turning away from what is wrong,

bold in saying “no” to what is wrong and “yes” to what is right.

  In Jesus Christ, Amen.
