WELCOME TO ALL SHARING TODAY’S SERVICE IN OUR SANCTUARY OR THROUGH FACEBOOK LIVESTREAMING. Our livestreamed 10 a.m. service can be viewed on Facebook at other times as well. An order of service and the pastor’s full message are downloadable from our church website (stpaulucctaylor.org) with a video recording of our worship together also posted by Sunday afternoon.
DUE TO THE RECENT SPIKE IN COVID INFECTIONS which have touched our own congregation, church members and friends are asked to mask and social distance for sanctuary worship.
OUR SEMI-ANNUAL MEETING ORGINALLY SET FOR THIS MORNING, is being rescheduled for the first Sunday of next month, August 7, due to the current Covid spike. Plan on being present for that important meeting.
HIGH SURF’S STILL UP WITH THIS MORNING’S SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON, taught by teaching volunteer Billie-Jo Stears. Grab your surf board for the lesson in our upstairs air-conditioned classroom
SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS STILL SOUGHT to teach single session classes in July or August. All lesson materials and snacks are provided. A sign-up sheet can be found on the Christian Education Welcome Center desk upstairs. You can also contact Pastor Schalm to secure a date and/or for more information. .
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2022 (VBS) ‘CIRCLE G RANCH’ IS SCHEDULED FOR JULY 25 - 29. Please confirm your child/ren’s participation by signing up at the Welcome Center Desk upstairs. VBS registration forms can also be found on the St. Paul UCC website. While VBS will not be open to the general public, friends and neighbors are welcome to join! However, due to liability and shortage of chaperones, the sponsoring church member or parent is required to assist with chaperoning Friday’s Willow Metro Park pool field trip. Pre-registration helps ensure that supplies and staffing are sufficiently secured. Please contact Pastor Schalm with any questions.

FOR THEIR SUMMER MISSION TRIP, AUGUST 15- 20, St. Paul youth will be serving at the Gleaners Food Pantry and Farm (Detroit), Jackson County Animal Shelter, Habitat for Humanity and Imagine Planet, all located in Jackson Michigan, while housed in reserved cabins at the Michindoh Conference & Retreat Center in Hillsdale. All interested youth should sign up on the youth board and pick up a mission trip information packet.
A YOUNG ADULT REUNION & GATHERING is being organized for Sunday, August 14. Following the church service, we will gather for pizza, fellowship, laughs, and remembrances. Dearly-loved past youth chaperones Carolyn and Alyssa Brandt will be in town to join us. Plan now to reconnect with past Youth Fellowship friends.

PLAN ON CELEBRATING A ‘BILL OF LOAN’ SHREDDING and the dedication of the sanctuary’s new grand piano at the ‘Happy Day’ Service planned for the last Sunday of the month, July 31. Special ceremonies, music, and fellowship will all be part of that not-to-miss glad day as we acknowledge both the final repayment to our church endowment for Family Room addition financing and the presence of a exiting and beautiful new instrument for our church’s music ministry.

FOR CONTINUING COVID CAUTION St. Paul worshipers can make use of several roped pews at the center of the sanctuary for the sake of social distancing. Masks and hand-sanitizer are available at the entrances to the church.
