TRUSTEES SEEKING TO FILL COUNCIL POSITIONS - UPDATE Beginning January the following positions are open on Council.  Second Vice President (three-year term), and two Deacons. A one-year term ending January 2025, and the second, a three-year term ending January 2027. Please prayerfully consider filling one of these positions.  A description of responsibilities is available in the church office or see a trustee.  Please prayerfully consider serving. THE ANNUAL MEETING OF OUR ST. PAUL CONGREGATION, approving a new budget and electing new Council members, is scheduled for next Sunday, January 21, following the morning worship service. Your attendance is important to ensure we have a quorum. No Coffee/ Fellowship Hour will be held.

SEW ‘N SEWS SEWING GUILD will meet Thursday, January 18, 10 a.m. in the West Room. Bring a sandwich, dessert and coffee are provided. No sewing experience necessary. Join us for ‘food for thought.’ Contact Janet Staffeld, chairwoman, for more info.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IS HOSTING A ‘WINTER WONDERLAND BLAST’ party for the Sunday School children on February 4, during the Sunday School hour.  The children have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities.  Mark your planners now!

SOUPER BOWL VIIII IS COMING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 11 AM – 1 PM to our Fellowship Hall. This is a great time to enjoy tasty soups. An $8 donation buys a spoon and support tray that holds six bowls of soup and allows you to taste a variety of amazing soups. All proceeds support Building and Grounds projects. Anyone interested in preparing a soup or for more information, please contact Jim Poet or the church office (313.291.1221). No Coffee Hour that Sunday.
