THE YOUTH ARE HOLDING THEIR ANNUAL FLOWER SALE. The flowers are coming from Blocks Stand and Greenhouse. If you would like to order flowers, please see an usher to pick up an order form. Order forms are also available online. Order forms need to be turned in NO LATER than MAY 1. Orders will be ready for pickup on Mother’s Day, May 14 after worship service. WEARING NAME TAGS WILL HELP Rev. Reed and visitors put a name to our faces.  If you need to update or get a new tag, please contact the church office.  Cost is $9.00.

TAYLOR CHORUS SPRING CONCERT “From Broadway to Ballads,” today, April 30, 4 p.m. Held at the Ford Senior Center, 6750 Troy St., Taylor.  Admission:  Adults $10, Children (5-18) $5, and under 5 free! Tickets available at the door.

SPRING MAY BE BARELY HERE BUT SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS ARE ALREADY BEING SOUGHT to one-time lead a class for children in the summer weeks ahead.  All curriculum, craft materials, and snacks are provided.  A sign-up sheet can be found on the Christian Education Welcome Center desk upstairs.  You can also contact Pastor Cheryl Schalm to secure a date and/or for more information.

MEDITATION MONDAY’S YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY & FELLOWSHIP CONTINUES MEETING WEEKLY at Pastor Schalm’s home, Mondays, 7 p.m.  All post-High School young adults are welcomed and encouraged to join.

st. PAUL EXERCISE CLASS WILL NOT MEET Wednesday, May 3.  Exercise will resume on Wednesday, May 10, 10:30 a.m. Can’t make it to class, but want to join us from home? Join on ZOOM via computer internet, I-pad, or video-phone. Contact Kathy Williams for sign-on and link information.

YOUTH FOOD AND FUNDRAISING The youth will gather at 5:00 p.m. for a pizza dinner at St. Paul Church, Saturday, May 13.  Following dinner, we will head to Meijer to return donated bottles and cans.  Afterwards, we will head to Block’s Greenhouse to gather and load flowers and plants for distribution on May 14. Contact Pastor Schalm for more information.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO MAKE CALLS and visits to those who have health problems or are homebound.   To volunteer or for more information, please contact Kathy Williams.

PLEASE JOIN FOR A “CHAT WITH REV. REED” Over the next 6 weeks we will have small gatherings of 6/8 people for a “Chat with Rev. Reed".  This will give Rev. Reed an opportunity to get to know you and put names to faces.  It will also give you a chance to get to know him a little better too. These gatherings should last about an hour.  The search committee has put together several dates/times for these gatherings.  The dates/times are as follows: Sunday, May 7, 11:15 a.m.; Wednesday, May 10, 11:00 a.m.  or 5:30 p.m.; Monday, May 15, 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, June 4, 11:15 a.m. Sign-up in the narthex on Sunday or call the church office.  If we run out of days/dates and there are still more who wish to participate we will add more dates until all those interested may attend.
