We simply ask that all receiving the communion be baptized and either confirmed or of adult age. After receiving the elements, return to your pew for the recessional of the cross.

THE YOUTH ARE HOLDING THEIR ANNUAL FLOWER SALE. The flowers are coming from Blocks Stand and Greenhouse. If you would like to order flowers, please see an usher to pick up an order form. Order forms are also available online. Order forms need to be turned in NO LATER than MAY 1. Orders will be ready for pickup on Mother’s Day, May 14 after worship service. YOUTH GROUP WILL GATHER FOR LUNCH on Sunday, April 23. After lunch we will bike to Willow Metro Park. Please contact Pastor Schalm for more information and to sign up.
OUR SPRING RUMMAGE SALE set-up begins Monday April 10 in both the fellowship hall and west room. Donations will be welcomed Tuesday, April 11- April 25, 12 noon. Donations can be dropped off Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tables will be set up with signs indicating where particular items should be deposited. Household items (kitchenware and small appliances) can be taken to the west room and put on tables there. Your cooperation is appreciated and will help with final sorting and displaying of goods. All donated items should be clean and in a good state of condition and repair for resale. Set-up volunteers are needed Monday April 10 to set up tables and racks and then beginning Tuesday April 11 the sorting of the donations will begin. Because of the shorter time between when we start collecting and the actual rummage sale, the more volunteers we have the quicker we can be ready. Further assistance will be needed Saturday April 29 for clean up. Please contact the church office (313-291-1221) or Trustee Toni Hill to volunteer.
