ST. PAUL MORNING TIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS – December05, 2021

THANK YOU FOR WORSHPING WITH US onsite or via Facebook livestreamed.  Our 10 a.m. service will also be posted on the St. Paul church web site under “Sermons, Bulletins, and Audio Services.”  As we worship today, let’s all seek to social distance, giving each other lots of space without congregating in the aisle, narthex, or vestibule.  Our congregation’s goal is to keep everyone healthy and safe.  Thanks!

FELLOWSHIP HOUR will be held today in our West Room with coffee and donuts served.  All welcome!

LAST DAY TO RESERVE YOUR CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS to honor or remember someone dear to you, using the white envelopes in the sanctuary pew rack.  Please indicate your dedication request and enclose $8 for your flower purchase.  The poinsettias will decorate the chancel through Christmas Eve and can be picked up at that time.  A roster listing all dedications will be included in the Christmas Eve Morning Tide and posted on our church website throughout the Twelve Days of Christmas.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be sharing a morning story focusing on God’s Goodness followed by an opportunity to make a "God Cares and We Care” card to be sent to Oxford High School students.

AN ‘ANGEL TREE’ AWAITS YOU IN FELLOWSHIP HALL, complete with Angel Tags and a recommended list of gifts for area children in need.  Simply select a tag from the tree, add your name and tag number to the roster, purchase and return your unwrapped gift to the narthex bin drop-off by December 12.  You may also request an Angel tag directly from Pastor Schalm.  Also, a tub has been placed in the Narthex and in the upstairs Welcome Center for donations of hats, gloves, scarves and undergarments. All items will be delivered to the Salvation Army for their Family in Need Gift Shop.

THE CHRISTMAS FUND ‘VETERANS OF THE CROSS’ OFFERING for Retired UCC Clergy and Lay Persons will be received throughout December. This offering provides “Thank You” gift checks directly to individual retired UCC clergy and lay church employees who find themselves facing unforeseen financial needs. Your generosity is a way of showing your support for these faithful servants of God. An offering envelope was included in your mailed December Tidings, and can be found online at UCC Christmas Fund, www.stpaulucctaylor.org/giving. On behalf of St. Paul’s Stewardship Team, thanks and God bless you!
