Almighty God, accept us now as we return to You the Lord of our lives.  We have  discovered Your lordship in frustration and disobedience, for whenever we have ignored You our lives have gone awry.  Help us now to discover You in fulfillment and joy, as we gratefully acknowledge Your claim to our lives and seek to honor it   with our obedience.  Rescue us from the shadow of death, and from the crippling results of self-centered living, and fill us with the strength and health of Your presence.  We ask this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
