    O Loving God, as we gather together in worship this morning we praise You and

    we give thanks to You; for this world which You have made, for your bountiful                       

    provisions for our needs, for all the blessings of this present life, and for the hope

    of a better life to come.  Let the memory of your past goodness fill our hearts with

    joy and thankfulness in the present, and for hope for the future.  Fill our lives with

    the truth of your Word and the courage of your apostles that, having caught the

    vision of your Kingdom, we may proclaim it with power and a glad heart to the

    salvation of many souls and to the glory of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.
