In Psalm 98 God's people are called to make "a joyful noise unto the Lord." At St. Paul United Church of Christ we try to witness joyfully to God through our music.  Leadership for our music ministry is provided by a director of music and an organist.    The adult Chancel Choir, which sings on Sunday mornings, alternating between the 9 and 10:30 a.m. services, rehearses every Wednesday night at church, September through June.  Chancel Choir members must be confirmation graduates or 16 years old or older. 

In addition, St. Paul United Church sponsors other choirs: 

•  Children's Choir (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
•  Youth Choir (6th-9th grades)
•  Hand Chime Choir (6th-9th grades) 
•  Handbell Choir (confirmed youth and adults)

Rehearsals for the hand chime and hand bell choirs are held on Wednesday evening before the Chancel Choir gathers.  The Youth and Children's Choirs rehearse on Sunday mornings immediately after the 10:30 a.m. service under the direction of our church's music leadership team, Mark Ennis and Sally Sigman.  Rehearsal information is published in the Sunday morning bulletin.
